Saturday, September xx th National Public Lands Day Cleanup-join us at Corbin’s Island for a river cleanup below the dam! Look for more details in the FRL (Friends of Raystown Lake) Newsletter.

Sunday, 11:30-12:30 AM: Come to the Raystown Lake Amphitheater Sunday at 11:30am for a non-denominational worship service! This event is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Council of Churches.For more information contact the Army Corps of Engineers at (814) 658-3405.

Tuesday, 9:30 - 10:30 AM: Raystown Lake Region Visitors Center for FREE Wake-Up Receptions from June 21-August 16, 2016! Each event provides a sample of things to do and see in the Raystown Lake area and Huntingdon County. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Door prizes will be drawn at 10:30am. This event is brought to you by the Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau and local businesses.

Tuesday, 11-12 AM: Rothrock Outfitters Test Paddle Tuesdays. Enjoy a FREE one hour session from Rothrock Outfitters testing out canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards from June 21-August 16, 2016. Testing equipment can be found at the Rothrock Outfitters rental shack located at Seven Points Marina. For more information contact Rothrock Outfitters at (814) 643-7226.

Thursday, 10-11 AM 4 and More Cultural District Walking Tour, Huntingdon's Cultural District partnership will be presenting free walking tours June 15-August 17, 2016.  The tours will begin at 10 AM at Merchants Park on the corner of 6th and Penn Streets in Historic Downtown Huntingdon, PA.  Tours include history, art, gardening and more! The tours will happen rain or shine, so come prepared for the day's weather. For more information call (814) 592-7529.
